Kathryn Carso Liss is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and holds a law degree from DePaul University in Chicago. While in law school, Kathryn attended a comparative family law course in Granada, Spain, was a dean's scholar, and authored a published Law Review article. Kathryn began practicing law in May, 2007 and joined Griffin McCarthy & Rice LLP as an associate attorney in August, 2008.
Kathryn focuses in domestic relations with the goal to competently assist families through difficult transition periods while attempting to educate clients and minimize the length of the process. She assists clients with the adoption process and is actively involved in the Chicago Bar Association Adoption Law Committee. Kathryn is also involved in the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee as a Special Project Coordinator. Additionally, Kathryn is dedicated to being proactive and obtaining the best possible result for clients of Griffin McCarthy & Rice LLP.
