Cecilia Hynes Griffin

Selected by peers as an Illinois Super Lawyer, Ms. Hynes Griffin has 15 years of experience as a negotiator and litigator in family law, including issues involving complex financial, professional, and business holdings. She is a fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a select group of highly skilled matrimonial attorneys and is a former member of the Illinois Chapter's Board of Governors.

Additionally, Ms. Hynes Griffin is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association, where she served as editor of its Family Law Newsletter and co-chaired an ISBA Family Law Section Council subcommittee responsible for rewriting specific statutes contained in the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act.

Ms. Hynes Griffin appears on an exclusive list of attorneys appointed by Cook County Circuit Court to act as a child’s representative in custody and visitation proceedings and is a frequent speaker at Chicago-area family support seminars and conferences.

She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and holds a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago.
