Allison Fink Stein received her law degree from the University of Michigan in 2001, and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1998. She began practicing law at McDermott Will & Emery in 2001, where she practiced in the area of domestic relations and family law, until joining Griffin McCarthy & Rice LLP as a partner in January 2009.
Allison was named an Illinois Rising Star in the area of Family Law by Law and Politics in 2009. Allison co-authored the 2008 IICLE article titled "Pleadings under the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act." She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and is a member of the governing board of Rainbows, an international not-for-profit organization aiding grieving children who have experienced a life-altering crisis, such as their parents' divorce.
